Text & English Translation
O quam bonum, O quam iocundum, quam suave, quam delectabile habitare in corde tuo, O bone Iesu.
Ibi gustabunt dulcedinis Paradisi.
O quam bonum, O quam iocundum, quam suave, quam delectabile habitare in corde tuo, O bone Iesu.
Aspice, respice, Domine, populum iustum; fac illum intrare in corde tuo. Dicat semper populus iste tuus: Hic habitabimus, quoniam elegimus illum. Alleluia.
O how good, O how joyous, how sweet, how delightful it is to live in Your heart, O good Jesus.
Come, all you holy souls, enter by the royal gate, enter through the Savior’s side, to heavenly joys. Come, enter; come to the angels’ consolation, come, enter, and see how good the Lord is to those who seek Him. O you faithful, O people of God, enter with joy, for this gate is the Lord’s, and only the just will enter it; there they will find joyous pasture, there they will taste of Paradise’s sweetness.
O how good, O how joyous, how sweet, how delightful it is to live in Your heart, O good Jesus.
Lord, look upon this people; make them enter Your heart; let this Your people always say: “Here we shall dwell, for we have chosen Him.” Alleluia.
